CROSS-CULTURAL ANALYSIS OF PHENOMENON OF PROFESSIONALIZATION: THE WESTERN TENDENCIES AND MODERN TRANSFORMATIONS

The article has reviewed historical and modern directions of research of a phenomenon of professionalization in the field of cultural science, psychologies, pedagogical science, acmeology, theoretical and applied sociology. Classical representations of structural functionalism on the basis of works of T.Parsons and empirical sociology of E. Huze have been reviewed. The analysis of modern researches on a reviewed problem floor allows to define major scientific directions in a context of three aspects of the professionalization, considering it as the social phenomenon, process of mastering by the person of a particular professional occupation, as well as the system of the social institutions governing the process of professional role obtaining by a person and providing opportunity of effective utilization of the potential.
