The article analyses special features of agricultural production that defines peculiarities of contractual relations: high degree of uncertainty of the contracts to be concluded that occurs in the process of agricultural production, seasonal prevalence of production, spatial dispersion, interrelation of agriculture with other branches of economy, monopolization of agricultural products market by processing companies, price disparity, difficulties in realization of land property right, dependence on government investments, which estimation would promote the development of contractual relations in Agriculture of Russia.
