Annotation:

The article is dedicated to the features of strategic management of industrial small and medium-size enterprises in the context of information economics. Criteria and special features of information economics are defined in the article for small and medium-size business. The author underlines features of management of development of small and medium-size industrial enterprises on different stages of the enterprise life cycle, formulates the problems of small and medium-size business in the environment of information economics, reveals the sources of occurrence of defined problems and offers variants of solving these problems. These variants are divided into two directions – solutions connected with external environment and internal potential of business.
