| Annotation: | This article analyzes the impact of information technology on the development of service companies. The author analyzes the change of the process of services rendering at the implementation of information technology. The article provides evaluation of the current level of service technologies and the prospects of their development in the future. Considerable attention is paid to analysis of the impact of information technology on improvement of the competitiveness of service companies. Conclusions have been made regarding the necessity to incorporate the cost of introducing of computer technology at the modernization of existing companies or establishing new ones. Separately, the influence of information technology on the tourism service has been reviewed. |
