Annotation:

The article has reviewed the features of definition and complicated issues of qualification of criminal failure to render assistance to the sick person; has proposed options of solution of disputable issues; has defined regulatory enactments, by means of which the requirements to render emergency aid to the sick person have been established; has made the separation from similar crime definitions such as: failure to render assistance to a person in a mortal danger; causing death as a result of inappropriate performance of professional obligations by a doctor; the article has also analyzed the judicial procedures of applying criminal and legislative norms of responsibility for the failure to render aid to the sick person.
