PECULIARITIES OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF THE SOCIAL WORKER AT THE HIGHER SCHOOL FOR PREVENTIVE ACTIVITY WITH THE ORPHANS AND CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTS’ CARE

The paper has characterized the essential and content properties of professional training of a social worker at higher school for preventive activities with orphans and children left without parental care. Particular attention has been paid to the review of the special course developed by the author “Fundamentals of preventive activities with the orphans and children left without parental care”, aimed at the development of the students’ system of knowledge about the genesis of the deviating behavior of the orphans and the socio-psychological support of the institutions of involved in the social activity performing preventive functions; at the obtaining of the practical skills in the arrangement of preventive activities with the orphans and children left without parental care; at the individual activity with the reference sources, documents, advanced technologies, and innovations.
