The development of tutorial system at the institutions of higher education in the USA, Great Britain and Russia is described in the article: the etymology of the term «tutor» is explored, the concept of the notion «tutor» is analyzed, important description of pedagogical activities in the field of individual learning is revealed, the significance of construction and organization of educational process and the process of upbringing aimed towards different personal qualities of a student is underlined, different types of tutors in these countries are differentiated, the requirements for tutors are examined, the experience of work in the United States UK and Russia is analyzed . |
