Integration of Russia in the global power system

This article describes the main directions of the energy policy of Russia at the world market. In particular, the attention is paid to the development of innovation projects, expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign countries, energy-saving and increase of efficiency of the fuel and energy use, and the diversification of the used types of energy and the structure of the energy sources for de-monopolization of the energy production. The justification of the importance of the energy strategy, which is the significant part of the entire policy of Russia, is provided. The author also proves the need of development of the long-term strategy of the authorities that is renewed every five years, so that Russia is able not only to create the competitive environment of production and consumption, but also to be integrated into the world energy system.
