State-Legal Policy of the Russian government regarding the foreign investment and anti-monopoly legislation

This article analyzes the legislative acts of the Russian Federation regulating the activities of foreign investors. It examines antitrust conditions set forth in the regulations, as well as the socio-economic, political and legal factors that determined the establishment of goals and objectives of the policy; discloses the main activities of the Russian government to impose conditions compromise the introduction of foreign investments in Russia. The paper identifies common and distinctive features of the implementation process of antitrust regulation of foreign investments in Russia and in the Western Europe. The attention is paid to the particular development of the provisions of laws in respect of investments of foreign companies resulting in the increase of legal regimes.
