Termination of authorities of the general prosecutor of Ukraine: bases, procedure, issues of improvement of the current legisl ation

The article has revealed the peculiarities of termination the authorities of the head of the prosecution system of Ukraine. The author believes that it is reasonable to provide brief characteristic of procedure of assignment of the General prosecu tor. The author proves the necessity of incorporating changes into the domestic legislation regarding the increase of the terms of the authorities fulfillment, prohibition of re-assignment, strictly regulated requirements to the candidate, availability of the general agreement of the parliament and the country leader regarding both release and assignment of the General prosecutor of Ukraine. In order to provide for legal constitutional-legal status of the main legal authority of the country, the apolitical personnel decisions made by the highest institutions are required.
