Development of the credit cooperation in foreign countries

The article examines the formation and development of credit cooperation in foreign countries. Based on the analysis it is clear that the distribution of shareholders and assets of credit cooperatives in the world is uneven, but the common is the allocation of specialized functional units within the system of credit cooperation. The role of credit cooperatives in financing rural population and small entrepreneurs has been revealed. The models of the systems of credit cooperation according to their functionality have been proposed. The systems of credit cooperation in foreign countries are in constant development being adapted to changing economic conditions. The country can simultaneously operate several vertical systems. Their organizational models are improved, new forms and types of credit cooperatives are appeared.
