Development of financial-legal regime of pension provision in the russian federation

The article has analyzed the foreign experience of financial guarantee of pension payments; has examined the current pension legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of its abi­lity to provide for the deserved life of old Russian citizens. The procedure of financial guarantee of the labor pensions’ payment (insurance and accumulation parts of the labor old-age pension) based on the financial mechanism of compulsory pension insurance specified by the Russian legislation has been discussed. The trends of development of financial guarantee of pension payments in Russia and alternative possibilities have been justified.
