Annotation:

The article analyses factors that affect the level of credit-investment potential of Russian commercial banks. The approach to determining the factors affecting the level of credit and investment potential of commercial banks was systematized. Two groups of factors were identified: external and internal. The external factors include: the monetary and credit market condition; the level of required reserves; funds of the population; conducted monetary policy; reserve rate. The amount of equity and debt capital is distinguished among the internal factors. Correlation analysis was conducted to identify the level of dependence of the bank’s credit-investment potential on the factors under consideration.
