This article examines the concept of organizational culture and impact of organizational culture on organizational performance; fulfills theoretical overview of the current approaches to the organizational culture research. It reveals the concept of power of the organizational culture as one of the factors of the company competiveness. Additionally, the author defines the criterion that serves for the organizational culture measurement, and provides for the method of such factor estimation. The strength of organizational culture is determined by the level of conformity in the organization that is identified by comparing the results of research among the company's management and the line staff, when taking into account with influence of the Kendall’s coefficient of concordance. The article provides for gradation of the organizational culture type depending on the level of its power. |
