PERIODIZATION OF THE RUSSIAN DIDACTIC TERMINOLOGY DEVELOPMENT (18th – EARLY 20th CENTURY)

Annotation:

The article contains results of research dedicated to dynamics of structural organization of didactic terminology from early 18th century to early 20th century. The author has described existing approaches to periodization of the Russian didactic terminology development in pedagogical context. Using a special technique determining changes in using didactic terms and concepts, a unique strategy of distinguishing the main stages of the Russian didactic terminology genesis has been presented. Periods are distinguished based on the quantitative characteristics and the determining factor that promotes changes of such characteristics. The research was carried out on the basis of 1538 pedagogical texts, which were published in 18th century to early 20th century.
