Development of the regulators of the youth labor market imbalance is analyzed in the article. The bases for changing the regulatory values of the university effectiveness indicator are determined by the criterion of the graduates’ employment, as well as development of the diagnostic tools for their achievement is examined. The typology of the students’ employment strategies is justified based on the aiming at professional strength and activity in career development. The hypothesis of absence of differences in development of the strategy for entering the labor market and strengthening at the market by the students studying different aspects of management is proven by the representative empirical data. The recommendations implementation of the program of students tracking and support of their future professional occupation are provided.
