| Annotation: | The article examines the problem of socio-economic inequality of regional development. It has been shown that high degree of differentiation of regions by economic and social indicators could lead to weakening of economic security of the country and to reducing the economic competitiveness in general. The article describes the positive and negative aspects of globalization and the way of its effect on social and economic inequality of regions in terms of sustainable development. The factors of globalization constraining formation of sustainable socio-economic system have been revealed. The dual nature of interaction between globalization and socio-economic factors of inequality of the regions has been studied. |
