| Annotation: | This article discusses the tightness of interaction of municipal government and public administration, which can be traced in almost all government decisions. The activities of local authorities in education are analyzed. The main tasks of local government for regulation of social-economic processes in the interests of citizens are identified. A new approach to assessment of efficiency of the local self-government operation in the field of education is proposed using mathematical tools. Correlation between expenditures per one student and the number of students in secondary schools is defined. |
