Annotation:

The article discusses the use of drawing and animated texts in practical classes in foreign language, which facilitates the training of translational, auditory skills, the ability to work with vocabulary, selecting the necessary equivalents. The article contains information on the difficulties that students face in the process of listening and reading foreign language texts. Examples of assignments for working with the types of game texts studied deserve attention, the necessity of their use in teaching activity as an effective element of motivation for studying a foreign language is substantiated.
