PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS IN THE ASSESSMENT OF REGULATORY IMPACT

| Annotation: | In the Russian standard-setting process the Regulatory Impact Assessment came in since 2010. One of the important components of RIA is public consultations and their effective conduct is the guarantee of quality conclusion. This article examines the procedure involving business and investment activities in the discussions for assessing the regulatory impact, as well as expanding the number of participants in the discussions in connection with the introduction of the latest technological developments (Federal portal of the regulatory legal enactment drafts — regulation.gov.ru), as well as the mechanism of influence of public discussion on the solution of the tasks of removal of administrative barriers and unreasonable financial load on the subjects of entrepreneurial activity. |
