MAPPING AS PEDAGOGICAL TOOL IN THE WORK OF THE CLASS TEACHER (for an example of professional self-determination of adolescents)

Annotation:

The article highlights the relevance of the effective activity of the class teacher in the professional self‑determination of high school students, the search for new approaches and means to the organization of pedagogical support of this process. In this regard, an attempt is made to substantiate the further prospects of improving the forms and methods, which take into account the personal educational request of a teenager, which allows combining the information he receives about professions with his personal experience. This tool can be mapping. Mapping (working with a map in tutoring) can become an Autonomous pedagogical means of a class teacher, which will allow a teenager to analyze personal experience, set certain goals, evaluate resources to achieve them, make a choice of profile in high school, and later the choice of profession. This tool combines and structures the information received, allows you to see yourself and your deficits, helps to fix new goals and seek resources to achieve them. Various types of mapping developed in different years and used in tutor practice are analyzed: personal resource mapping, educational cartography, event resource mapping, etc. conclusions. This implies that all types of maps contribute to the actualization and objectification of mapping objects (their thoughts and knowledge, educational experience, goals, tasks, resources for their implementation, etc.), development of reflection skills, structuring of mapping objects, additional formation of personal meanings and goals. Approaches to mapping are designated, essence and specifics of use of various types of cards are defined.
