The article discusses the issue of selection of educational technologies as a means of implementing a practice‑oriented approach in a regional university. The essence and main characteristics of the practice‑oriented approach are determined. The various approaches to the implementation of this approach in universities of the country are considered. The authors analyzed foreign educational models: American (CDIO, Liberal arts and sciences, Corporate University) and European (applied baccalaureate, dual education and SEED) and identified implementation problems in regional universities in regions with a rating lower than the average of industrial production efficiency. Taking into account the analysis of various approaches to the implementation of a practice‑oriented approach and the identified problems of their implementation, arguments were made in favor of introducing practice‑oriented educational technologies in the teaching process of both core and non‑core subjects. The analysis of project, case‑technology and context‑based learning technology in the process of teaching natural and mathematical disciplines at a regional university has been carried out. The main characteristics of the above technologies are noted: the feature, functions, tools, methods and results. Based on the analysis, the choice as the main technology for the implementation of a practice‑oriented approach in teaching natural‑mathematical disciplines of context‑based technology is substantiated. The main thesis of the article are: lack of industrial production in the region imposes restrictions on the choice of the trajectory of practice‑oriented education, a way out of this situation could be the introduction of the practice‑oriented learning technologies into the teaching process. To study the theoretical and practical aspects of the identified problem, the following research methods were selected: review and analysis of the literature, analysis of regulatory documents, questioning and questioning natural science students. |
