INVESTMENT PROJECTS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR ECONOMIC SAFETY

The article discusses the importance and role of economic security as a factor in ensuring sustainable business development. The security of any system should be guided by the timely foresight, detection, and adequate response of internal and external threats. The project activity of the organization is implemented in order to obtain a unique end result within certain parameters. Due to the limited resources of organizational systems, projects in different areas will compete with each other. Therefore, it is important to become not only the process of selecting projects, but also evaluating their effectiveness. The selection process must take into account the importance, urgency and consistency of the organization’s strategy. These parameters must be considered through the prism of economic security. The process of managing economic security in the framework of an investment project should have the following components: planning for managing economic security, identifying and assessing threats, developing response measures, monitoring and control is carried out at each stage of the process of managing economic security of a project. However, in practice, economic security is either not considered or is ignored in the analysis of the economic feasibility of investment projects, which causes the urgency and necessity of studying this problem. The results of this study is the development of management actions in the regulation of economic security as a whole organization, and in particular investment projects, which is necessary for planning measures to improve the basic indicators of the effectiveness of investments.
