The scientific article studies the main indicators of the assessment of the development of inbound tourism in the Russian Federation, and analyzes the degree of their relationship and influence on each other with using of econometric approach. Inbound tourism in our country is considered as one of the promising sources of income, and often serves as an object in the process of creation of forecasts of cash receipts. Therefore, there is a need for identification of existence of the valid interrelations between indicators of development of entrance tourism, for the purpose of further formation of the most exact forecasts and plans of its foundation in the country. The article highlights the main indicators of inbound tourism, the forecast of development of international tourist arrivals in the country, based on the reports of UNWTO. Through calculations carried out by the authors, it was proved that between the indicators of international tourist arrivals and the costs of tourists in the country there is a weak linear relationship, while the cost of tourists in the country has a significant impact on the level of the country’s spending on the development of the tourism industry. This allowed us to talk about the need to pay more attention to the volume and direction of the latter. The authors assumed that in modern realities most of the state’s expenditures on the development of inbound tourism should be aimed at the formation of the creative part of the national tourism industry, the feasibility of which was determined in the process of writing the article. The authors also formed recommendations for the creation of the creative part of the tourism industry in the country, and highlighted a number of consequences for the tourism sector. |
