SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY IN MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS FOR MANAGEMENT OF INTER-MUNICIPAL COOPERATION

The subject of this study focuses on spatial consistent patterns in distribution of productive capacity in municipal districts of Volgograd region determining the activeness of inter-municipal cooperation ties in the regional economic space. Based on using the evolutionary-genetic and spatial approaches, the method of assessing the productive capacity factor components in municipal districts of the studied region was first executed. The study is novel in its analysis of inter-municipal cooperation activeness based on the assessment of variability, clustering and predictability of the productive capacity factor components in municipal districts. In the course of study the authors used analytical means of spatial statistics, including histogram analysis, assessment of spatial auto-correlation, regression analysis. The research result is a worked-out method of assessing the activeness of inter-municipal cooperation considering the diagnostic criteria for each productive capacity factor component in municipal districts. The scholarly importance of the study results combines theoretical and methodological grounding of methodological tools in managing sustainable social and economic development of the region and its municipal entities.
