The subject of the research is the mechanisms for implementing the policy of import substitution in agriculture in the Samara region. In this study, the participation of the region in international exhibitions and congresses is studied as an essential tool to stimulate innovative development of the region and fulfill presidential decrees, helps to establish business contacts, expand services, strengthen inter-regional and international cooperation. In the course of the study, it was established that in order to implement this process, congress and exhibition events should have an interdisciplinary and regional character. In general, agriculture remains one of the fastest growing sectors of the Russian economy. Thanks largely to the agreements reached and contracts concluded at international exhibitions, in recent years, there have been qualitative changes in the Russian agro-industrial complex, from the predominance of imports to the realization of its own export potential. In this regard, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has developed a passport of the national project “International cooperation and export” in terms of exports of agricultural products. And again for the future, the leading platforms for the realization of the set goals will be inserts and congresses of various levels. The Samara region has many advantages, such as a favorable and convenient geographical position, steady economic growth, an adequate resource of the workforce, a growing amount of investments, and a rich cultural heritage. And the state tasks dictate the need to create open exhibition areas to demonstrate samples of their products and equipment, search for new markets both within the country and abroad, attracting investors. |
