Annotation:

In the article, the author explores emotional intelligence, which can help managers and specialists create long-term quality relationships, build strong teams, create a positive work environment, make better decisions, manage stress. In the modern world of tough competition, EI can become one of the main resources for business development. First of all, this concerns companies whose decisions directly affect the economic efficiency of an organization. EI is closely interrelated with the success of professional activities, especially in the areas of “Man-toman”. In historical development was considered that emotions which are tested and expressed by the person need to be controlled carefully. Especially to express emotions in a workplace in general it is nonprofessional and inadmissible. Actually researches show that not only are important for the person having the high level of emotional intelligence, emotion, but also overcomings obstacles and achievement of success are absolutely necessary for acceptance of optimal solutions, search of an exit from current situations. Right now time of broad application of the EI scientific model which practical use in a business environment gives additional competitive benefits to the innovative companies came. Further four emotional abilities on which the concept of the head having the high level of emotional intelligence is under construction are given in the text: “identification of emotions”, “use of emotions”, “understanding of emotions” and “management of emotions”.
