CAPABILITIES OF EXPRESS-ANALYSIS OF THE FINANCIAL STATE OF THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

For the effective management of any economic entity, managers need information to make good management decisions. The most informative and accessible information is contained in the financial statements of the economic entity, which is the basis for financial decisions. The interpretation of this information allows management to form a strategy of development of the organization, to predict its sustainability. In conditions of uncertainty and orientation towards the strategy of sustainable development, it is necessary to quickly present to management, owners and other persons concerned the current state of financial and economic activity of the economic entity. Economic analysis allows assessing the state, as well as the effectiveness of the management system as a whole, by evaluating the financial state. At the same time, emphasis is made on the rapid analysis, which is characterized by the minimal time spent on carrying out calculations and simplicity of calculations. The traditional scheme of conducting express analysis of the financial condition of an economic entity is not suitable for educational institutions due to their sectoral specificity, and the information contained in their financial statements, information on the financial situation of participants in the budget process (for example, availability of resources of financial and non-financial assets, obligations of settlements with debtors and creditors, etc.) are an important direction of development of the new accounting and analytical system of management of the educational institution. The article proposes a methodology of rapid analysis of the financial condition of educational institutions in relation to the conditions of operation of public sector organizations. It is proposed to highlight two main areas of rapid analysis related to the assessment of the resource potential of the educational institution and the effectiveness of its financial and economic activities. The article presents a system of indicators for assessing the financial condition of an educational institution and a methodology of calculating them during the rapid analysis. Studying the capabilities of the rapid analysis of the financial condition using the example of an educational institution will allow assessing effectiveness of its activities and reveal the possibilities of using the results of the analysis in management.
