Annotation:

In modern conditions of modernization of the state agrarian policy, innovations in agricultural legislation ensuring food security, interstate integration, digitalization of the Russian economy, the development of bio and genetic technologies, the production of organic products, increase in agricultural exports, and social relations in the agricultural sphere are becoming more complicated. This determines the increasing role of agrarian law, changes in its place in the system of the Russian law, legal nature, subject of legal regulation, institutionalization of the agrarian law. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the analysis of the field of agricultural law in modern geopolitical, legal and socio-economic conditions. The purpose of the study is to identify current trends in agricultural law. Research objectives: substantiation of the place of agrarian law as an independent branch of law in the system of law of Russia, determination of changes in the subject of agrarian law, justification of the prerequisites for the formation of new legal agrarian and legal institutions, identification of the impact of interstate integration processes on the development of domestic agrarian law. Research methods — formal-logical, comparative, statistical, historical and legal. The results of the study. It is concluded that there are prerequisites for the recognition of agricultural law as an independent branch of law. This is indicated by the subject and method of legal regulation, own industry principles, and separate agricultural legislation. An analysis of public relations in the field of agriculture led to the conclusion that the subject of agrarian law has changed due to the inclusion of public relations to ensure food security, sustainable development of rural areas, and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. The increasing complexity of agrarian relations and the legal status of agricultural producers as subjects of agrarian relations determine the formation of new legal institutions, in particular, agricultural cooperative law. The features of legal relations in the field of agricultural cooperation, the concept, subject, method, and structure of agricultural cooperative law are substantiated. As a result of the study, the author of the article comes to the conclusion about the prospects for the development of agrarian law, its new content, allowing us to talk about the preservation of agrarian law as an industry, science and educational discipline.
