CRIMES AGAINST PUBLIC MORALITY UNDER IRANIAN CRIMINAL LAW

Annotation:

The article deals with the issues of criminal and legal assessment of crimes against public morality, which allows revealing the concept and features of the qualification of such crimes. In the modern world, in connection with the deepest processes of globalization and integration, the legal status of the individual should be in dynamics. In the legislation of many States, the system of crimes against morality itself was formed around the XIX century. The problem of morality has traditionally been Central to many scientific studies, and recently interest in it is only growing, since the destruction of the system of moral values rooted in the minds of Russians prevents the implementation of reforms in various spheres of life of Russian society, posing a real threat to the national security of the Russian state. Commission by guilty of crimes against public morals which social danger is defined not so much by their quantity, how many specifics of harm which is caused to all society, affects various spheres of public life, has irreversible character, is capable to endanger the most important traditional moral values developed by the Russian society and protected by the state, causes aggression and violence in relation to people around, leads to creation of a breeding ground for Commission of other, more serious crimes. Based on the analysis of the provisions of the criminal law of Iran, the author notes the existence of rules governing crimes against morality, as well as violations of family rights and obligations of citizens. The analysis of the grounds and value orientations of the Islamic Republic, which became the basis for the creation of criminal and legal protection of the population of this state, is given.
