The article reveals the results of a study of young people’s ideas about the national projects that are being implemented in the Sverdlovsk region. The authors set themselves the task of studying awareness of young people of the Sverdlovsk region about the implementation of the national projects in the country and region; analysis of their estimates of trends in various spheres of social life that take place under the influence of the national projects; measuring young people`s self-assessment of their involvement in the implementation of the national projects and ways to activate it; studying the factors influencing the opinion of the youth of the Sverdlovsk region about the implementation of the national projects. The study shows a low level of involvement of young people in the topics of the national projects in general and in the regional components in particular. These data are consistent with young people’s self-assessment of their participation, poor vision of the implementation of the national projects and their dynamics. The factors of awareness of young people about the national projects are the level of their social activity and socio-demographic characteristics: the type of settlement, financial status, the level of education and social status. It is actually difficult to identify the share of youth participation in the implementation of the regional projects, since no project is implemented primarily by young people. The focus group showed that project management at the level of organizational and educational aspects can be an effective tool for implementing the national projects. The authors point to the high potential of youth in the Sverdlovsk region in achieving many of the indicators of the national projects; they have concluded that the topic of youth participation in the implementation of the national projects is insufficiently studied, its study is hampered by the lack of data for the youth group both in the system of statistical accounting and the reporting system for the implementation of national projects. Young people participate actively in projects that are understandable to them; and where young energy and strength are in demand, it is necessary to use this advantage when involving young people. |
