The widespread use of digital technologies has led to significant changes in the trajectory of economic development and education. New changes have necessitated the development of new skills that will enable future professionals to compete. The relevance of the study is dictated by new requirements for specialists in digital society; special socio-psychological characteristics of the digital generation; new digital technologies that appear and develop in the digital environment. The main objectives of the work are to determine the competencies required by employers, which enable identify the main areas for training specialists of the future, to identify socio-psychological features of modern students — representatives of the digital generation, and, within that framework, to create a methodology for teaching informatics to students of a technical university. The analysis of the literature on the subject makes it possible to draw certain conclusions. 75…85 % of success in professional activity today depends on the level of formation of communication and digital skills. Important features of modern students include an increase in the level of visual perception, clip-like thinking and information congestion. The traditional educational system is more often based on a linear approach to learning and uses linear educational technologies. The content of the subject area is formed sequentially according to topics and sections. One of the main priorities of the existing world education systems is the use of e-learning technologies. Therefore, the creation of an information and educational environment with network forms of educational programs implementation is one of the priority tasks. The leading idea of the work is to build a digital information and educational environment for teaching informatics to students of a technical university as a set of optimal conditions and opportunities that ensure the student’s education and development by building an individual educational trajectory and providing them with advanced knowledge. |
