The article presents the results of a study devoted to the development of fine motor skills in future first-graders by means of finger games and exercises in the course of distance learning. The basis of the study was the development and implementation of an experimental program aimed at the development of fine motor skills of hands in children aged 7 using a remote (distance) form of training. Distance learning allows you to conduct exercises and games of finger gymnastics with fully mediated interaction, that is, interaction at a distance, between a student and a teacher. Many researchers note the need for the development of fine motor skills of hands in preschool children as an important condition for the success of school education. Insufficient development of fine motor skills can lead to a delay in learning to write, design, work on the computer, the emergence of a negative attitude to learning, a decrease in motivation to learn, disruption of communication, an increase of the level of general anxiety. The article reveals the features of the implemented experimental program “Fingers”, which included 6 modules, each of which had a certain set of special finger games and exercises. The pedagogical conditions of its implementation are also presented. The authors developed a number of control exercises to assess the development of fine motor skills of the hands: “Fist — rib — palm”, “Rings”, “Hooks”, “Raise your fingers”. The described interpretation of the results of the study indicates a positive trend in the development of fine motor skills in future first-graders. In the experimental group, improvements occurred in all 4 studied indicators, that proves the effectiveness of the developed program. The article presents a number of recommendations for primary school teachers on the use of finger games with children of 7 years of age. |
