MORAL GUIDELINES FOR MANAGING THE DEVELOPMENT OF STAFF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

Annotation:

The article discusses the value-semantic foundations of professional competence, which are the moral guidelines of professional activity. Goals, values, moral orientation of professional activity are key competencies. They are manifested in the process and in the results of work, in relation to work and everything connected with it, often become decisive criteria for recruiting and selection of personnel, personnel potential assessment, and formation of a personnel reserve. With the help of theoretical methods, the analysis of modern concepts of the highest values of professional activity, which form the basis for managing the development of professional competence of personnel, is carried out. It is shown that the moral aspects of professional competence allow, along with basic knowledge, abilities, skills and experience, solving both typical and non-standard tasks of professional activity. The authors rely on the hierarchy of values adopted in Christianity as a cultural and historical source of modern universal human moral values. The authors point to the heterogeneity of the process of development of value aspects of professional competence, highlighting two stages — professionalization and the actual implementation of professional activity. In the context of the formation of the moral basis of professional competence, the specific values of professional activity are described. These are honesty, striving for truth, control of negative emotions and destructive intentions, good, equal and friendly relations in a team, activity, freedom, creativity, humanism, understanding of the universal human value of the profession for society and humanity, understanding of professional duty and professional honor. It is noted that these values are of a terminal nature and express basic universal human ideals. Some directions in which a methodology for managing the development of moral guidelines of professional competence can be developed are described.
