Digital technologies and the constant flow of information are changing the business environment. The driver of the progress is the speed of response of the management of an industrial enterprise to the influence of factors of the external and internal environment of the enterprise. At the same time, the assessment of the efficiency of industrial enterprises indicates that a number of them involve further development and increased flexibility of production. The development of benchmarking in Russia is associated with certain problems. All this is determined by the direct impact of the following driving forces of the production and business environment: more than enough production capacity of a number of industrial enterprises; large scientific resources; employees’ experience, skills and knowledge; low cost of resources. These transformations are associated with the development of new and effective management technologies designed to directly ensure the development of industrial enterprises in conditions of economic and market instability. However, the situation of a number of industrial enterprises indicates the lack of the ability to organize efficient activities to make appropriate management and production decisions. At the same time, it is obvious that for the adaptation of industrial enterprises to market conditions, the flexibility in the management of the production system is the main condition for improving the efficiency of production and all the activities of the enterprise. But the flexibility of the management of an industrial enterprise is determined by the flexibility of its structural elements, such as: the organization of production and business processes, management at all levels, the availability of necessary equipment and the use of innovative technologies. The flexibility of the technical and technological component is one of the key factors in increasing the flexibility of the management and activities of an industrial enterprise. In turn, the increase in the level of management flexibility is a direct consequence of the merger of all the structural components of an industrial enterprise. |
