Annotation:

The development of the regional system of academic and methodological support for teachers of general educational institutions in the Irkutsk Region should provide an opportunity for effective continuous professional development not only for specialists implementing basic education programs, but also for teachers working with students with health limitations in inclusive conditions, implementing various versions of adapted basic general education programs. The article combines this group of teachers into a group of inclusive teachers and presents it as a regional phenomenon of school education in the Irkutsk region. Currently, the Inclusive Education Department of the State educational Institution for supplementary vocational education “Institute for Education Development of the Irkutsk Region” is developing the materials that allow comprehensively identifying professional deficiencies in inclusive education teachers on the basis of standardized assessment procedures presented by clusters of basic professional competences: subject, methodological, psychological, pedagogical, and communicative. The main purpose of the article is to familiarize the readers with the identification of professional deficiencies in inclusive education teachers based on the provisions of the professional standard “Pedagogue (pedagogical activity in pre-school, general elementary, basic general, secondary general education) (educator, teacher)”. The author’s view on identification of professional deficiencies in teachers in the implementation of adapted basic general education programs of primary general education in inclusive conditions, their correlation with the main components of professional activity in the context of the process of educating students with developmental delays presented in the article form the basis for the elaboration of individual trajectories of professional development of inclusive education teachers in the regional system of academic and methodological support.
