Annotation:

The article deals with the issues of organizing educational processes in the modern format of multicultural and social aspects. The study and its conclusions are based on the example of teaching students a foreign language. The trend of increasing number of foreign students in Russian educational institutions substantiates new approaches to the organization of educational process in conditions of multicultural interaction. This thesis objectively implies that issues related to the need to find effective communicative strategies as a component of intercultural interaction and productive cooperation between the subjects of the educational process in higher education institution come to the fore. The article describes the strategies adapted to the peculiarities of intercultural society of higher education institution and substantiates the participatory approach to teaching organization. The authors emphasize that the choice of communicative strategies and tactics, their actualization in the educational process, is influenced by the level of teachers’ methodological readiness for the educational process in multicultural environment: a teacher is not only a bearer of professional competences of a particular knowledge domain, but also acts as a moderator of pedagogical dialogue in multicultural environment. The scientific conclusions are based on the analytical material obtained as a result of individual and group surveys of students, teachers’ questionnaires, methods of personal inclusion and observation. According to the authors, the proposed ideas are the basis for the teachers’ own approaches to the content of methodological developments, expansion of methodological content, including distance resources and online access content. The prospects of the research are related to the expansion of international academic exchanges and the need to further search for effective strategies of communicative interaction of the subjects of learning in a multicultural environment.
