Annotation:

The article is devoted to problematic issues of student safety in schools. The author considers the “Safe School” program implemented as part of the reform of the education system of Georgia. In recent years, a lot of work has been done in the direction of the safety of Georgian schools with positive results. The next stage of the education reforms provides for the development of further interaction between the school and the school bailiffs service, designed to show a new approach to ensuring the safety of students, where special attention is paid to the emotional state of students. The organizational structure of the school bailiffs service includes psychological service centers with full-time psychologists, child psychiatrists and social workers. In parallel, a public electronic database with personal information about schoolchildren has been created. The relevance of research in the field of school environment safety is recognized worldwide. In the context of modernization of the national education system of Georgia, the accumulated experience and established practices are considered. The paper analyzes the methodology and structure of innovations in the course of modernization of the national education system of Georgia in recent years. Of particular interest is a set of tools, conceptual schemes that have the potential of opportunities and contribute to solving the problems of the safety of the school environment. The author’s identification of safety measures for schoolchildren in the learning process is potentially applicable to the secondary education system in Russia and the countries of the post-Soviet space. It is concluded that the safety issues of the school environment require a comprehensive study, the development of common criteria for the effectiveness of security measures and the possibilities of integrating the best systems into the post-Soviet space.
