One of the characteristics of the modern stage of higher education system development is the growing importance of the results of research work of educational organizations, which, in turn, requires the revision of the system of labor organization of the teaching staff as the main performer of this type of work. One of the elements of this system is labor rationing, the effective application of which contributes to improving the performance not only of teachers, but also of the educational organization as a whole. The issues of the structure and size of the teaching staff’s work norms have been relevant for a long time. Educational establishments are now given the autonomy to solve them. The analysis of existing approaches in economic science to rationing of labor of teaching staff allowed the author to present a system of labor standards for this category of employees. This system is based on the classical theory of labor rationing and includes: labor input norms, labor output norms, manageability and service norms, working conditions norms, ratio norms. Each type of norms has its own structure and evaluation indicators. The article gives a substantiation of each type of norms, considers their interrelation, and offers formulas for their calculation. It is assumed that the application of the system of labor standards presented in the article will allow educational organizations to improve performance indicators, and will also contribute to the growth of the motivational component of teachers’ work. The results presented by the author in the article can be used in the educational process in the study of disciplines, which deal with the organization and rationing of labor of university teachers. |
