The article contains an analysis of musical thinking in a musician student in a choral conducting class in the context of the axiological approach. The concepts of musical thinking, artistic and imaginative thinking, value-semantic attitude to the content of the work, which constitute the totality of the formation of musical thinking in a student-musician in the field of musical and pedagogical education, are revealed. The article examines the emotional-volitional sphere from the point of view of forming the readiness of the future teacher to independently improve their professional abilities and create an artistic image of the work. In the study, we relied on the axiological approach to understanding the value-semantic content of a choral work and the formation of the ability of a meaningful intonation-style comprehension of music by a future teacher-musician. In the field of music pedagogy, musical thinking is an act of cognition that is associated with the process of analyzing and reproducing reality through thinking. The controversy in the field of musical art is about the artistic cognition of music. This problem was dealt with by both domestic and foreign music critics and musicologists: M. G. Aranovsky, B. V. Asafev, N. I. Zhinkin, V. V. Medushevsky, A. A. Pilichauskas, S. H. Rappoport, J. Buryanek, G. Riman etc. The author considers musical thinking as a process of transformation of sound reality into an artistic and figurative one, which is associated with the value-semantic content of the artistic image of a musical work in the process of working on its performance in a choral conducting class. The novelty and practical significance of the research lies in the identification of methods and criteria for the search for artistic relationships and value-semantic understanding of the content of the student-musician of the performed work. In the course of the research, the author of the article defines the task of the teacher, which lies in the search for methods of the student’s personal and semantic attitude to work on a choral work, since musical thinking is represented in the unity of two structures — emotional and rational. |
