Annotation:

Under the conditions of digital transformation of society and education, modern teacher education is in constant search for ways, methods and means to improve the efficiency and quality of teaching. The team of scientists, led by Professor Y. Bogatyreva, during 2020—2022 conducts scientific research aimed at the introduction of innovative forms and methods in the training of informatics teachers. The purpose of the study is to analyze the innovative training of computer science teachers to improve the forms, content and technologies of education in the context of the digital transformation of society and education based on a methodological analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, a review of regulatory and legal information in this area. The methodological basis of the study was the conceptual representation of professional training for the digital economy at various levels and forms of education, as well as current trends in the development of innovations, innovative activities and the creation of a safe digital educational environment. The content of an additional vocational training program for working informatics teachers “Innovative approaches to teaching in the context of implementing an ecosystem for training IT stuff in educational institutions of the Tula region” is presented. The article also analyzes the results of a survey of working informatics teachers and teachers of secondary vocational schools in order to assess the directions for using innovative educational technologies in school practice and identify the problems and difficulties that working teachers face when using modern digital tools and tools.
