The paper considers the methodology for the development of sensory-motor abilities of qualified volleyball players as the basis of technical training when receiving volleyball serves and returning the ball. Many years of experience show that in the training process of volleyball players insufficient attention is paid to the development and improvement of their coordination abilities. Therefore, an urgent task today is the search, development and practical application in the training process of the most effective and efficient methods for the development of speedstrength and coordination abilities. During the pedagogical experiment with the participation of 24 qualified volleyball players of the student league, two research groups were organized in order to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. A preliminary analysis of the level of development of sensorimotor reactions of volleyball players in game actions when receiving volleyball serves and returning the ball showed that the introduction of specialized means of shuttle motor actions into practical classes reduces the latency period of reaction to a moving object (a volleyball) when receiving volleyball serves and returning the ball. In the course of the study, shuttle motor actions were determined and rationally distributed, which made it possible to optimally adapt, reduce the reaction time to the beginning of actions when receiving volleyball serves and returning the ball. The use of the proposed motor complexes of exercises significantly increased the level of coordination abilities of volleyball players, reduced the number of errors when receiving a serve and returning the ball and, in general, allowed to increase the effectiveness in competitive gaming activities. The methodology of developing the coordination abilities of volleyball players in game actions when receiving a volleyball serve and returning the ball has been introduced into the training process of the Moscow Polytechnic University team. |
