The article presents the problem that has developed in modern Russia as an acute contradiction between the society’s need for qualified personnel of employees of the internal affairs bodies (OVD) and the existing shortcomings of the system of training specialists in the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. In this regard, in the process of training specialists, it becomes necessary to form a tendency for students to self-develop their individuality, which is a prerequisite for the formation of motivation for the professional development of police officers. In this regard, the article deals with the issues of professional development of young police officers. We allocate tools of the target block, which includes the definition of the goal for professional development of police department employees in accordance with society’s demand, the requirements of the the normative documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia’s actions, conditions and features of police service. The main tasks of the organizational methodological block are: definition of main methodological landmarks, selection and structuring of necessary basic information; establishing the specific features and the order of realization of vocational training process. In the process of professional training, we used a personality-oriented and competence-based approaches. The structural components of professional development are determined and the pedagogical model for professional development of employees in the internal affairs system is presented. In the content of the pedagogical model for professional development of young police officers we identify such approaches as personality-oriented, competence-based, activity-and-competence-based, and such components as motivational-volitional, emotional, cognitive, need-based and activity-based. |
