ELECTRONIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT MOODLE AS A MEANS OF ORGANIZING THE INDEPENDENT WORK OF STUDENTS

Annotation:

The problem of organizing independent work of students has become especially acute in recent years due to the need to switch to distance learning. In the current conditions, the choice, scientific justification and successful practical implementation of technological e-learning platforms are becoming relevant, providing, on the one hand, the possibility of an effective transformation of the traditional educational process, on the other — the development of independent-minded, intelligent, creative students. There are several platforms for organizing independent training of students, a special place among which is occupied by the Moodle learning environment. The interest in organization of independent work in the Moodle e-learning environment is due to its poor development in pedagogical science in the context of increasing demand for e-learning systems with great pedagogical potential, which will help to optimize independent work. This article discusses the problem of organizing independent learning and the stages of its implementation on the Moodle platform: adaptive, value-based, active and creative. The authors propose a comprehensive approach to the organization of independent work of students on the basis of the Moodle learning environment: the types of tasks that this environment allows to form, the principles of the content development for independent work on educational platforms are considered; the methodology of conducting independent work on the basis of this environment is developed. In the course of pedagogical research, such methods as theoretical analysis of pedagogical literature, statistical processing of experimental data were used, qualitative and quantitative indicators were determined that allow us to assess the effectiveness of independent work of students on the basis of the educational platform Moodle. The results of a pedagogical experiment involving ninth grade students and conclusions about the effectiveness of using the Moodle system in an educational organization are presented.
