AREAS OF WORK OF THE EDUCATIONAL CONSORTIUM AS A NEW FORM OF INTERACTION BETWEEN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES

Annotation:

The development of the education system in Russia is one of its national priorities, as it has a significant impact on all aspects of the development of the state and society. The changes taking place in the field of education, on the one hand, provide educational institutions with new opportunities, but on the other hand, increase the requirements for the development of their material and technical infrastructure, human resources, research base and the need to integrate pedagogical experience. The article discusses directions of state policy in the field of education, as well as forms of interaction between universities, including non-state ones, aimed at consolidating efforts to improve the quality of their work. One of the most suitable forms of cooperation in the new conditions are educational consortia, which are communities of like-minded people who are ready to obtain a synergistic effect by combining and maximizing the use of the resources of their educational organizations. Considering that in Russia the practice of creating consortia is not yet extensive and is mainly reduced to the unification of state organizations within the framework of scientific and technological development programs, the article provides a theoretical analysis of normative and pedagogical literature on the research topic. In addition to the theoretical study of this form of interaction, the paper describes the practical experience of creating a Consortium of value-oriented educational organizations «New Square», which at the first stage included six non-state organizations of higher education. The consortium in question has become an example of a new form of cooperation between private universities, which has passed all the stages of formation within three years from signing a cooperation agreement to creating a legal entity. The main goal of this consortium was to increase the competitiveness of the participating universities, as well as to create a unified ideological platform for educating students through joint work in several areas: upbringing and educational activities, improving the quality of education.
