The significance of the study is due to the need to teach the course “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood” at universities in the new regions. The authors present their experience of teaching the discipline “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood” at Kherson State Pedagogical University, the leading university in the Kherson region, which is a new one in the Russian Federation. To achieve the goal, we used theoretical methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific sources on the research problem; method of interpretation, allowing us to compare and summarize the studied materials, and formulate general and specific conclusions. The article substantiates the need to teach this course, which provides new citizens with knowledge about Russia. The article notes a number of problems in teaching this discipline at universities in the new Russian territories and proposes to create a new textbook taking into account the comments made. The scientific novelty of this work is in identifying the problem of adapting teaching means to the characteristics of the new regions. The theoretical significance of the study is in the fact that the main goal of teaching the discipline “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood” is presented. The practical significance of the work is in the possibility of applying the research results in the process of professional training at universities in the new regions of the country. In conclusion, recommendations are presented for the implementation of the subject “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood” at Kherson State Pedagogical University. Joint distance learning of the students from the new regions with the students from other regions of the Russian Federation is proposed as well |
