The article analyzes information about the creation in modern Russian universities of the foundations of organizational and pedagogical conditions for teaching future orientalists the hieroglyphic writing of oriental languages, such as Japanese, Chinese and others. Hieroglyphs are the foundation for the professional activities of orientalists, the key to a foreign written ideographic language, fluency in which is the pedagogical goal of the educational process in a modern university. Organizational conditions create a favorable environment for an effective educational process that meets the requirements specified in state regulatory, legal, scientific and methodological documents, and depend on material, technical, managerial, and personnel conditions. Pedagogical conditions are aimed at productive management of the pedagogical process to achieve the goal of effective training of orientalists in ideographic writing. They include the content, types and forms of the educational process: informational, personal and technological. Information conditions provide the content of the educational program of the subject “Hieroglyphics” and the curriculum of the discipline. The professional and personal qualities of a teacher, the behavior of participants in the pedagogical process constitute personal conditions that characterize the psychological characteristics of teaching ideographic writing. Universities create and use technical, methodological, and electronic means for high-quality teaching of students, which provides for stable access to the Internet and the availability of technical teaching aids: visual aids, tablets, interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors, and laptops. University students have up-to-date information about e-books, Internet resources, online dictionary databases, and educational programs. Digital mobile applications and tools promote self-education.
