Teenagers with intellectual disabilities have deviations not only in mental development, but also in physical development, which can be corrected by means of adaptive sports, such as ParaCheer. Like any sport, ParaCheer combines various types of training, including technical training. During technical training, many mechanisms contribute to the development of coordination abilities. The article analyzes the results of the study on the influence of technical training in ParaCheer on the level of coordination abilities of adolescents with intellectual disabilities at Boarding School No. 1 for students with disabilities in Astrakhan. The study involved 50 adolescents with intellectual disabilities aged 13 to 15. The students were divided into two groups: control and experimental groups, 25 subjects in each. The groups were identical in anthropometric and functional indices. At the beginning and end of the study both groups took the Romberg test and the complex test developed by us. The subjects of the control group were engaged in rhythmic exercises for a year, while the subjects of the experimental group received technical training in paralysis. Teenagers who were engaged in technical training in ParaCheer significantly increased the results of two control tests to determine the level of development of coordination abilities, which proves the positive effect of technical training in ParaCheer on the coordination abilities of adolescents with intellectual disabilities. |
