EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF YARD FOOTBALL IN MODERN CONDITIONS

The relevance of the study of the educational potential of yard football in modern conditions is associated with the fact that in recent years the volume of motor activity of the population and, as a consequence, the interest in physical education and sports is steadily decreasing. Excessive fascination with computers, the transition from personal communication to communication mediated by technical means, complicate the socialization and adaptation of children and adolescents in society. We believe that overcoming these problems can be achieved using the educational potential of yard football. The study of this problem cannot be considered sufficient due to the fact that research interest in this problem in scientific publications has been traced only in the last 5—8 years. The purpose of the research is to study the main trends in the educational potential of yard football in the conditions of a modern city. The research is based on the study of the experience of conducting training and competitive activities in the field of yard football, a questionnaire survey of children and adolescents assessing the dynamics of their attitude to playing yard football in particular and sports in general, the peculiarities of the formation of interpersonal relationships in the process of playing yard football and a number of other aspects. Empirical results were obtained indicating an increase in the motivation of children and adolescents to physical education and sports, the formation of active leisure habits in children and adolescents, the formation of communication skills in children and adolescents and the desire for personal communication with peers as a result of participation in training and competitive activities in yard football.
