SCIENTIFIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPT OF HARMONIOUS DEVELOPMENT FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF MICROECONOMIC THEORY

The purpose of article is a theoretical understanding of the concept of harmonious development, taking into account the change in the focus of research, its shift from the macroeconomic level to the plane of microeconomic theory. The relevance of this topic lies in the fact that the modern economic situation is characterized by extreme uncertainty, and the unresolved problem of countering economic crises, achieving economic equilibrium, Pareto efficiency leads to an understanding of the need to shift the emphasis of scientific research from macroeconomic problems to the microeconomic level. This approach can create the prerequisites for the formation of a new paradigm of economic theory, focusing on the problems of economic development of a company, by studying which it is possible to determine ways to solve the most important issues related to achieving harmony in economic life. The work determines that this problem is solved within the framework of the concept of harmonious development of the company, which is very popular in theoretical terms and is actively conceptualized in the scientific literature. At the same time, the importance of transforming the economic ideology of the company in the direction of increasing attention to the environmental and social components of activities while ensuring the interests of both the company itself and the stakeholders that form its environment is noted. The article points out that ensuring the long-term and harmonious development of a firm is possible subject to thoughtful consideration of the economic, social and environmental dimensions of the activities of an economic entity and simultaneous attention to the goals of achieving Pareto efficiency under conditions of resource limitations, which requires the rational use of production factors and the development of the latest energy and resource saving technologies. The conducted research allows us to say that the harmonious development of a company represents a special trajectory of its existence, when the sustainable development of an economic entity and the satisfaction of stakeholders’ expectations are carried out on the principles of expediency, effectiveness, social responsibility and greening of economic activity.
